For over 50 years Ravenswood Christian School has been a center of Christian education in the Lincoln Square neighborhood. RCS is committed to academic integrity, perseverance, and excellence. At Ravenswood, we believe the fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, therefore our curriculum is centered around the Bible and its teachings. According to Proverbs 10:4, “Wise men lay up knowledge,” and since Christ is the source of all knowledge, therefore RCS strives to keep Him pre-eminent in our program. All students at RCS participate in a Bible class each day, which includes Bible study, Bible memorization, and practical Christian living. 

Ravenswood Christian School is also committed to strong academics in English language arts, math, history, and science. In order to lay a strong foundation in reading, phonics-based instruction is given from kindergarten through second grade. Our well-rounded program includes instruction in mathematics, grammar, literature, vocabulary, creative writing, social studies, and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math).
